Once paired with your phone, the Mi Smart Band also allows you to receive message alerts and incoming call notifications. How to connect Mi Smart Band with your phone
Before starting with the steps you need to follow to connect the Mi Smart Band to your phone, it is important to note that you must keep Bluetooth enabled on your phone to exchange data wirelessly with the Mi Smart Band.
Log into your existing Mi Fit account. Alternatively, you can create a new account in Mi Fit by tapping the Create an account now button in the app.
Once done, you will see a screen in the Mi Fit app that will ask you to select the device you want to pair with. Tap Band there. You need to bring your Mi Smart Band closer to your phone to pair it.
Now the Mi Fit app will ask you to confirm the pairing request on your Mi Smart Band.
Tap the check mark icon on your Mi Smart Band to confirm its pairing.
Once the Mi Smart Band is connected to your phone, you will need to allow access to notifications from your phone’s settings to receive real-time alerts on your wrist. You can also go to the settings menu of the Mi Fit app to enable or disable features like incoming call notifications and idle alerts.
