OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 7T Receives OxygenOS Updates in India

OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 7T have started receiving OxygenOS updates with some features and improvements for the former and the November 2020 security patch for the latter. OnePlus 8T gets OxygenOS version, while OnePlus 7T gets OxygenOS 10.3.7 in India. The development has been shared on the official OnePlus forums for the two phones. OnePlus 8T has received multiple updates during this month and this time the new update addresses some issues that users were facing.

OnePlus 8T OxygenOS Changelog

the OxygenOS update for OnePlus 8T brings some system improvements, camera fixes and network fixes. The fingerprint recognition and registration experience has been improved. The media file scanning feature has been optimized for faster searches. System power consumption has also been optimized to increase battery life. Also fixed an issue where the app cache would not clear after uninstalling. In some cases the screen used to flicker when using the fingerprint unlock and this has been fixed with the update.

The camera’s white balance has been optimized and the image quality has also been corrected. The stability of the network connection has been optimized to improve the gaming experience. The update also improves the stability of video calls.

OnePlus 7T OxygenOS 10.3.7 Changelog

the last update for OnePlus 7T fixes issues with the status bar during a call causing incorrect touches, updates the GMS package to 2020.08, and fixes the flashback issue with the Phone app. Update the Android security patch to November 2020.

OnePlus has stated that like all incremental updates, these OxygenOS updates for the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 8T will have a phased rollout. A small percentage of users will receive the update first and the mass rollout will begin in a few days.
