The Redmi Note 9 series will launch in China on November 26. Redmi confirmed the arrival of the new range through Weibo. The Xiaomi sub-brand announced that it will launch up to three Redmi Note 9 series phones, however, it does not mention what the names of these phones could be. It is expected that there will be a basic Redmi Note 9 model alongside a Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone. It can be speculated that the third variant will be called the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max as a similar model was launched in global markets including the India.

The company took Weibo to announce that the Redmi Note 9 series will launch in China on November 26. The post confirms that there will be three models released in the series. It doesn’t mention the names, but it can be speculated that they could be called Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. All these phones are likely to be 5G compliant, given the current trend in the domestic market.

The teaser poster, shared by Redmi, reveals the design of the Redmi Note 9 series phones. The camera module appears to be strikingly different from that found on the Redmi Note 9 series models launched in India. The China models have a circular camera setup with four sensors and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also detected. The teaser poster suggests that the Redmi Note 9 series may launch in shades of blue and green.

Redmi Note 9 Specifications

Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro have been seen on TENAA earlier. Redmi Note 9 appears on the list to feature a 6.53-inch IPS full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) display, a MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage options. The listing also mentions that the storage can be expanded to 512GB.

The Redmi Note 9 China model is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, the phone can come with a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone is expected to have a 4,900 mAh battery.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Specifications

Redmi Note 9 Pro’s TENAA listing claims that the phone will feature a 6.67-inch (1,080×2,400 pixels) full-HD + display. A recent Geekbench listing suggests that the phone can work with the Snapdragon 750G SoC. TENAA claims that the phone will have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. This model, according to the list, will feature a 108-megapixel main camera on the back, while the selfie camera is expected to have a 16-megapixel sensor. The phone can come with a 4720 mAh battery.
