The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Lite may launch next year as an affordable folding screen smartphone. According to a tweet from a well-known analyst, Samsung is developing a new foldable smartphone that could be called the Galaxy Z Flip Lite. Judging from that moniker, it may come in a similar form factor to the Galaxy Z Flip with a clamshell design. So far, Samsung hasn’t shared any information about the Galaxy Z Flip Lite.

According to analyst Ross Young, rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Lite are abuzz, and it is expected to come with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). The foldable phone could be more affordable than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and it could democratize folding smartphone technology for the mainstream market.

According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung you are working on a more economical folding glass with lower production costs than UTG. This could come to fruition with the rumored Galaxy Z Flip Lite next year.

Samsung is expected to stick with UTG for its next foldable phones, whether flagship or budget. The company has made progress with its UTG display with the launch of Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip. Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is priced at Rs. 1,49,999, while the Galaxy Z Flip is priced at Rs. 84,999. While the price of the rumored Galaxy Z Flip Lite hasn’t been announced until now, it would be interesting to see how “affordable” it could be.

It should be noted that Samsung has not shared any official information about the Galaxy Z Flip Lite or Galaxy Z Fold Lite so far. However, it is expected to launch more foldable smartphones next year.
