Snapchat adds new feature to allow creators to show subscriber count
Snapchat has introduced a new feature in which creators will now be able to publicize the number of subscribers they have, marking a first for the social media platform. If the user chooses not to make their metrics visible, the feature can also be turned on and off.
According to a report By Tubefilter, users will now have the option to display their subscriber counts. A Snapchat The spokesperson told Tubefilter: “We have heard feedback from our community of creators and many of them expressed interest in having the option to show that their community on Snapchat is growing.”
The spokesperson added that “we are giving creators the option to make the subscriber count visible on their public profiles. We understand that not all creators want their fans to have public metrics. Therefore, creators can choose to enable and disable this metric as needed in your environment. ”
The new Snapchat feature will be available to any creator or business with a public profile. It is reported to be rolled out globally in the coming months.
Snapchat has released new features to make its platform much more fun and interactive for users. Last month, Snapchat launched a new feature called Sounds that allows ios Snapchat users worldwide to add music to your snapshots from a music catalog featuring songs from new and established artists.
As part of this feature, each time a user receives a snapshot with Sounds, they can swipe up to view album art, song title, and artist name.
