Xbox Series X stock in short supply through April 2021 at least
Xbox Series X will be in short supply through April 2021 at the earliest, Xbox CFO Tim Stuart has revealed. Microsoft’s New High-End Game Console – Costs Rs. 49,990 in India, $ 499 in the US, and 449 pounds in the UK – It’s been out of stock in most of the world since it went up for pre-orders. And while more Xbox Series X units are expected to be available by the end of November, it appears that supply will not be able to keep up with demand for several months.
“I think we will continue to see supply shortages as we move into the quarter after From Microsoft Q3, calendar Q1, ”Stuart said at the Jefferies Interactive Entertainment Virtual Conference last Friday. This is not the first time Xbox The division has said so. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has apologized at least twice for how demand is so much higher than supply, in what seems like an attempt to soften the looming frustration.
But for the first time, an Xbox executive has offered clarity on when the shortage of Xbox Series X stock would be resolved. Stuart added: “[When] we get to [Microsoft’s] Q4, our entire supply chain [is] continuing at full speed heading into the months leading up to summer. And that’s where I […] wait to see a little […] of the supply profile that meets the demand profile.
“You will be out of a vacation window. We will have a supply for the next 4, 5, 6 months. And that’s when I really hope to see the demand profile start to be met, which is going to be really great. ”Microsoft’s fourth quarter is April through June.
Right now, Xbox Series X is sold out on all online platforms in India. According to The Mako Reactor, new units are expected later this week and then more at the end of November, in line with stocks arriving in the US and UK along with Black Friday sales. Gadgets 360 has contacted Microsoft India to confirm when the next Xbox Series X will be available in India. We will update this report when we hear from you.
Microsoft isn’t the only one struggling with a shortage of stock for its next-generation gaming console. From Sony Playstation 5 continues to suffer the same fate. The PS5 does not yet have a release date in India and a release without sufficient stock is not desired.
Xbox Series X and Series S launched on November 10 globally, including in India. The S Series is still available in India.
