Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite US FCC Listing Reveals Boxy Design and Key Specifications
Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite has been spotted in the US FCC database revealing its design and key specifications. The Xiaomi wearable is seen sporting a square-shaped dial with a button on the right side. The listing also contains a picture of the smartwatch’s retail box showing it has a 1.41-inch HD color screen, built-in GPS, and 24-hour heart rate tracking. Previously, the same watch was allegedly seen on the UL (Demko) certification website. The wearable could be a renamed Redmi Watch.
According to the pictures available On the US FCC list, My Watch Lite with model number REDMIWT02 has a square dial, has a button on the right side, and a silicone strap. There’s also a picture of the wearable’s retail box showing the key specs of the smartwatch. Based on the information available on the box, the smartwatch features a 1.41-inch HD color screen, built-in GPS, and 24-hour heart rate tracking.
The box also says that the Mi Watch Lite is water resistant to 50 meters and comes with swimming stroke recognition, multiple fitness modes, and automatic screen brightness function. It houses a 230 mAh battery and is compatible with phones running Android 4.4 or iOS 10 and higher.
This is not the first time Mi Watch Lite has been seen before its launch. Supposedly has been stained on the UL (Demko) certification website above. The UL (Demko) and FCC listing for My Watch Lite comes with the same model number REDMIWT02. Interestingly, the model number itself suggests that the wearable in question belongs to a Redmi Watch, suggesting that the Mi Watch Lite is a renamed Redmi Watch, as the latter is said to have the same model number.
Mi Watch Lite is likely the diluted version of the My watch that was thrown out in China starting at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 14,300). My Watch has a 1.78-inch AMOLED screen (368×448 pixels) and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC. There is 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and a 570mAh battery.
