You can charge your phone by placing it on top of this Timex alarm clock
A new Timex alarm clock with wireless charging support has been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium. This certification was awarded just a few days ago and suggests that the product should launch soon. An image attached to this certification shows the design of this unique product. Timex has put a twist on the traditional alarm clock to offer wireless charging on its top surface. Timex is an old watchmaking brand that is trying to reinvent itself with new products that evolve with today’s technology landscape.
Wireless Power Consortium has certificate a new Timex alarm clock with wireless charging device. You’ll be able to charge your phone just by placing it on top of your bedside alarm clock, assuming your phone supports wireless charging, of course.
The listing has an attached image showing a cylindrical tabletop design with a flat surface on top for wireless charging support. There is a display screen on the front that shows the time with red LED light. Wireless Power Consortium has listed its power level at 5W and the registration date is said to be November 20.
This upcoming Timex wireless charging alarm clock bears the model number TW300. It has not yet been officially announced by the company. There is also no clarity on when this product will launch and in which markets it will be offered. However, it is likely to be announced soon now that the watch has been certified.
Timex recently also released the iConnect Premium active smart watch in India. This wearable device comes with a color touch screen and has silicone and stainless steel strap options. It is said to be IP68 waterproof and listed to offer heart rate monitoring, call and text notifications, sedentary reminder, activity tracking, sleep tracking, and music playback controls. It includes a battery that can last up to five days. The Timex iConnect Premium Active smartwatch is priced in India starting at Rs. 6,995.
