Android Police stained that the last Youtube The app update has brought with it a new section that shows all your purchased movies and TV shows in one place. This new section, as mentioned, is called ‘Your movies and shows’ and appears in the menu tab. All purchased content was placed first in the library purchases section, but this dedicated menu option makes it easy to access. YouTube may be rolling out this option gradually as it hasn’t appeared to us even after updating to the latest Google play store version. Separately, YouTube has also announced beta audio announcements to help interested businesses connect with the audience that listens to podcasts on YouTube. These audio ads should be around 15 seconds long and will focus more on audio than video. These ads will be in video form, but the visual component will be a still image or a short animation.
“When you are preparing your audio ad campaign, keep in mind that audio should play the main role. Think: if I close my eyes, I can still clearly understand what this ad is about. Be clear and specific with your message and choose a friendly and authentic voice to convey it, “says YouTube in its Blog.
As an example of increased engagement in audio ads, YouTube adds: “One of our first testers, Shutterfly, used audio ads to influence purchase consideration among interested buyers, outpacing referral increases of 14 % in the memory of the ad and 2% in favor among its target audience ”.
